So, you want to have music lessons? |
![]() |
Lessons are for individuals and groups. You can also take a singing lesson with a friend and split the cost*.
Check out the classes page for more info. If you want to do graded exams then you can.
All of the students who have entered exams have passed, most with merit or distinction.
Some students have won competitions and gained places in musical shows.
I started teaching private instrumental lessons in 2004 and I have taught in many other situations.
I have been a workshop leader for children's keyboard classes; I have taught as a peripatetic teacher in voice,
and worked in a sixth form college teaching BTEC students. I have led adult singing groups, and many other music sessions.
When I was 25 I left my job in accountancy and I returned to music making after a seven year break.
I went to university for the musical life and I studied for a degree in music at The University of Southampton.
I'm not expecting you to do something as drastic but remember, it's never too late to start.
So come, make music and enjoy yourself. It's something you can always do.
